How to get to Tungalag Tamir Lodge?
Tungalag Tamir Lodge is located 500 km from Ulaanbaatar, 3 km from the center of Ikh-Tamir Soum in Arkhangai Province, on the right side of Taikhar Rock.

Follow these simple steps to reach us from Ulaanbaatar.
Step 1: Travel from Ulaanbaatar to Arkhangai Province
Take a long-distance bus from Dragon Bus Terminal in Ulaanbaatar. Choose the route Ulaanbaatar → Tsetserleg (Arkhangai Province). The journey takes about 7-8 hours, with scenic views of the Mongolian countryside.
Step 2: From Tsetserleg to Ikh Tamir
Once you arrive in Tsetserleg City, you can take a local taxi to Ikh Tamir Soum (about 30–40 km).If you prefer, we can arrange a private pick-up service from Tsetserleg directly to our lodge — just contact us in advance.
